2 oz Copper & Kings Bottled in Bond Apple Brandy, ¾ oz fresh lemon juice, ½ oz maple syrup, and a pinch of warm baking spice (cinnamon with a hint of clove), finished with a cinnamon-sugar rim and an expressed orange peel or apple slice.

Instructions

Run a lemon wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip lightly into a simple mix of sugar and cinnamon. Fill a shaker with ice and add the Bottled in Bond Apple Brandy, lemon juice, maple syrup, and baking spice. Shake until cold and gently spiced, then strain over fresh ice into the prepared glass. Express an orange peel over the surface and serve warm in character, crisp in finish.
